My father is back in ER. He says he is ready to die. He was born a Catholic, but left long ago. His wife Rita said he prayed to Jesus this morning. The first such prayer in many years, as far as I know.
Whatever your religion or beliefs, if you pray I ask you to please say a prayer for him. His name is Edward.
His wife's name is Rita. Today is St. Rita's feast day.
I will pray. Hail Mary full of grace. Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Dear Lord Jesus, grant Edward the grace he needs to return to you, and help Rita with what she needs. We all need your help in times of trial. Only you know what their greatest needs are. Send your angels to guard and guide them. Bring them people to help them.
We give you thanks for what you are doing for Ed ward and Rita. We praise you for your mercy and faithfulness even when we have been unfaithful. You are the Resurrection and the Life. Restore Larry's faith so he may be with you forever. Amen
Prayed. I lost my dad back in ‘05. It’s never good, even if they’re ready. I lost my wife last year...she was 29. The sorrow is unbearable at times. We have 2 boys 9 and 7... we were married almost 10 and a half years. I’m doing my best to become constantly praying. Remember the Tau. We’ll find ourselves together.
